Xenics
The Belgian company Xenics, now part of Exosens, is one of the leading distributors of high-end cameras and sensors for infrared sensing – especially in the SWIR (short-wave infrared) and LWIR (long-wave infrared) spectrum.
In mid-2026, a significant change took place. The Exosens Group unified all of its subsidiaries under a single name – Exosens. The primary goal is to improve clarity in its product offerings and raise the visibility of its activities.
The company develops and manufactures special IR sensors, cores and complete cameras for the infrared sensing area – mainly SWIR InGaAs image detectors and cameras, but also LWIR sensors and cameras. Both compact cameras and embedded solutions are available.
Infrared cameras find applications in machine vision, but also in science and research, medicine, transportation, process monitoring and security systems.
ATEsystem s.r.o. has been the official distributor of Xenics (now Exosens) cameras for the Czech Republic and Slovakia since March 2020.
